Senior Strategist

We’re looking for a strategist eager to dive into a tightly knit, integrated team with producers, designers, and developers. Strategists at Brooklyn Digital Foundry lay the foundation for all our work, helping clients understand best practices and envision innovation through a suite of tools including stakeholder interviews, market research, user testing, user personas, content audits, site maps, and more. Brand strategy

  • Craft brand positioning and narrative, define and produce brand guidelines and tone and voice documentation
  • Perform detailed evaluation of client's business environment including stakeholder needs, capabilities, content audits, comparative audits, feature lists, target goals, and trend analyses to identify unique market opportunities and threats

Digital strategy

  • Lead the creation of insight-driven, results-centered strategies for web, from initial research to brainstorming, wireframing, design and production
  • Support projects with consumer research, market research, key performance indicators, user tests, online surveys, sitemaps, case studies and more
  • Produce sitemaps and information architecture through content audits, analytics reviews, and testing
  • Annotate high fidelity wireframes and designs to document decisions and requirements for development

Presentation and facilitation

  • Structure and present recommendations to client leadership for approval
  • Support client relationships with counsel on optimal solutions relative to time and budget availability; monitor opportunities for beneficial scope additions and make timely, informed recommendations to project teams and client leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Client Service, Design, and Technology teams throughout engagements to ensure fidelity to user and business goals
  • Facilitate handoff of projects by providing client support such as content management system trainings and best practices documentation

Studio leadership

  • Follow emerging technology trends and share best practices with studio peers and leadership
  • Assist in business development activities: provide feedback on RFPs and outbound proposals, present agency work and initial strategic direction to potential new clients, help shape the scope of new client engagements, and review proposed statements of work
  • Support agency marketing activities: maintain social media presence, write for company blog, manage email campaigns, write case studies, and update website content


  • 5-7 years of related experience required; digital agency experience preferred
  • Broad set of strategic experience and skills across information architecture, user experience and interaction design, brand strategy and positioning, digital content and marketing.
  • Experience leading facilitation with senior level clients; experience leading workshops and design thinking exercises a plus
  • Excellent organization and communication/facilitation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences
  • Basic understanding of data architecture within Content Management Systems
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and how APIs function
  • A strong editorial point of view for copywriting
  • Low-fidelity design and wireframing skills a plus
